Central Catholic High School

WHEELING -- The Central Catholic High School and Linsly School communities came together Friday night as rivals on the basketball court. But, they also came together to benefit the community. CCHS hosted its inaugural "Teddy Bear Toss" at halftime of the game. The event was the brainchild of CCHS senior Kaitlin Brodegard, who is the president of the student council. The stuffed animals, which were launched onto the court from all angles, were collected by members of the student council and then donated to the local Toys for Tots campaign, which was represented by John Labriola. He explained the history of the program and thanked the students and fans.
