WEIRTON -- The Maroon Knight boys soccer team continued its four-game road swing to open the season Saturday morning inside Jimmy Carey Stadium against Weir High. And for the second time in as many outings, the Maroon Knights came out on top. The latest was a 3-1 win. Recording goals for the Maroon Knights were Mason Smith, JD Schoolcraft and Grady Mullin. Junior Tino Sperlazza stopped two shots. Central is back in action Tuesday night at Parkersburg South. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
